Une news en hommage au batteur Ian Wallace, décédé le 22 Février. Né en 1946 en Angleterre, il a notamment joué avec King Crimson (en 1971 et 1972, sur Island et Earthbound), avec Jon Anderson et avec Yes (en 1968), ou encore avec Ry Cooder, George Harrison (ex Beatles), Keith Emerson (ELP), Bob Dylan (sur les albums Street Legal et Live at Budokan), Joe Walsh (ex Eagles), Brian Eno, Don Henley et Peter Frampton.
Il a aussi participé à tous les sides-projets de King Crimson : 21th Century Schizoid Man et Crimzon Jazz Trio ainsi qu’au supergroup The Traveling Wilburys.
Ian Wallace connaissait bien Eric Clapton, Chuck Berry, Billy Joel et Sting. Il était considéré comme un homme simple et naturel, généreux et amical.

En Août 2006 les médecins lui ont diagnostiqué un cancer de l'oesophage. Il est mort jeudi matin.
